Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are the benefits of gymnastics for young children?
A: There are many benefits of gymnastic classes for young children, in particular:
Development of social skills
Development of gross motor skills
Development of fine motor skills
Concentration and problem solving skills
Q: What happens if my child doesn’t want me to leave them at the independent classes?
A: No problem! We are well practiced in putting children and parents at ease and gently encouraging them to be more independent. As parents ourselves, we understand what it’s like and will help make sure both you and your child are happy and confident in our classes.
Q: How many children are in each class?
A: It varies but our maximum number for each class is 18 children with a ratio of 6 children to 1 coach.
Q: Are the coaches DBS checked?
A: Yes, we are fully qualified and DBS checked, so you are in safe hands
Q: My child can’t sit still - will there be lots of waiting around?
A: No, not at all. We design each circuit to have magnet stations, which ensures there is always something for individual children to do, whilst they are waiting to get onto the next piece of equipment. These magnet stations are almost as fun as the gymnastics, so they never realise they are actually waiting their turn for anything anyway!
Q: Are the classes the same every week?
A: We follow the same basic format, but the session plans change every fortnight, so your little ones remain stimulated and engaged throughout the programme.
Q: I need a new t-shirt - can I buy another please?
A: Yes of course, once you have received your t-shirt as part as your membership, replacements can be purchased for £10 - please just ask at your next lesson.
Q: I’ve lost my medal or certificate! How do I get another one?
A: Replacement certificates are available for £1, or medals for £3 - please just ask your coach at your next lesson and they will organise a replacement for you.
